I’ve been going to Cowal for a good many years now. And over the years the Pipers in The Red Hot Chilli Pipers have featured in one way or another. Either as part of The Royal Burgh of Stirling Pipe Band or Shotts or a n other pipe band – but last weekend The Red Hot Chilli Pipers did something quite special for Cowal Highland Gathering.

The Ceilidh tent is new thing (relatively) for Cowal – putting the Red Hots on at it from 4pm was a stroke of genius. At a time of day when the early start is starting to hurt – The Red Hot Chilli Pipers got everyone going again. They just might have redefined Cowal Games for years to come.
